SANGUINIA

1942 - Versailles, France

Equipped with a stolen trench gun and way-too-many grenades, you discovered the Necronomicon in a Nazi camp, peering through a carelessly-open crate. You think of how much money this dusty relic could grant you, and swipe it away before you're caught. As an unaligned mercenary, all you care about is making any amount of money to get by in the middle of this Hell.

You find the ruins of an old café to briefly take shelter in. Curious, you open the book, and read the first line.

"No mortal man shall hear the secrets of this tome and live. He who reads anymore than a page shall have his blood on his own hands. Choose your knowledge wisely."

You laugh, of course. What could a dusty old manuscript do to you that war hadn't already?

You finish reading the first page, and your hands flip to the next. As you read, a piercing ring fills your ears, as you pray to God a bomb hasn't gone off.

You black-out.

As suddenly as it happened, you've awoken now, in a cave within the mountain Liathach, with a strange lust for blood. You've been sent back to the 14th century, and the townsfolk are not happy to see a technological marvel of a vampire attacking their village. It's either them or you, and you sure as Hell were born a survivor.

The book came with you. It seems like you're not the only thing it brought to the unassuming Scottish village of Shieldaig.

CONTROLS

WASD - Move

Arrow keys - Shoot

Space - Grenade

You must survive 7 nights, and you can heal by drinking the gushing blood of your enemies. You will slowly lose health over time, and if you don't get any blood in time then you will starve. Each night gets progressively harder, with new enemies appearing in larger hordes.

Will you become the fear of the dark? Or will you be yelling "COUNT DOWN!!"?
